Introduction
Beef
     Beef, lots of people love it and feels cannot live without it. Beef eating beef since prehistoric times. Until now, there are thousands and thousands of recipes for cooking beef. Beef contains high-quality protein and essential nutrients. Different parts of beef have different recommend ways to cook, some are better for grill, steam, roast, and sauté. Different countries have their own recipe for beef. 
     Beef is meat comes from cattle. Grain feed beef grading is: Prime, AAA, AA, A. Prime is the top level in the beef grade. There are only 3% of the cattle meat can arrive the level of prime. The world famous beef --- Kobe beef is from Japan. Kobe beef is a delicacy renowned for its flavor, tenderness, and fatty, well-marbled texture. In Canada, people choose Black Angus for their first choice.

Strip-loin
     Striploin is located at the middle of the cattle's back, evenly marbling, have the same level of chewy to the sirloin cuts, one of the most favorite parts for Americans. Unlike the tenderloin, the longissimus is a sizable muscle, allowing it to be cut into larger portions. There are two recommended ways to cook striploin, grill, and roast. One of the most famous recipes for striploin is "Grilled NY Striploin Steak". I will talk about the recipe at the after part of this blog.

Price
     For the price, I went to St. Lawrence Market to look for the price. The reason I went to this market is, this is the nearest market to out school. However, it has a higher price than normal markets. Normally, the price of striploin is between 10.99-13.99/lbs. However, in St. Lawrence Market, the price as you can see in the below picture, USDA Prime Striploin Steaks 33.99/lb. That's over double than the normal price, that's why I didn't buy it at the market. The way I will choose to cook meat is grill. As I said at above, there are only two recommend ways to cook striploin. The reason for grill and roast is, striploin is tender meet, not as tender as tenderloin, but have chewy and juicy tastes.

Recipe
Grilled NY Striploin Steak
8oz Beef Striploin Steak
10ml Vegetable oil
2g Thyme
2g Rosemary
4g  Garlic
Salt and Black pepper

Grilled NY Striploin Steak
1. In a medium-sized stainless steel bowl mix the crushed garlic, bruised thyme and rosemary, black pepper and oil together.
2. Place the steak into the bowl, marinated in the fridge for 15-20 minutes
3. After marinated, take out and allow the steaks to temper for approximately 30 minutes until it reaches the temperature of people's skin, and this allows the salts went into the inside of the steak.
4. Preheat cast iron grill pan over medium flame until hot.
5. Remove any herbs and garlic off the steak and season liberally with salt on all sides.
6. Place the steak on the hot grill pan, at a 45-degree angle to the pan to create grill marks on the steak. Rotate the steak 90 degrees to make the grill mark crosses, do the same as the other side.
7. Serve and Enjoy!

     It seems easy to cook grilled NY striploin steak, but it really needs chef's experience to make a perfect steak. Juicy and fresh taste. Fried steak also has a lot of stress, it is necessary to be able to quickly heat the beef surface, and can not make their fibers rupture, which requires the chef's experience and craft.
